The halloumi salad was one of the best I’ve ever had. Lovely tranquil atmosphere, nice music that’s not too loud. The servers were very nice.

Called in when passing had and had a drink, I've passed it 100s of times and never realised there's a public bar, I'll call again

Booked well in advance as we won't entirely sure of numbers, I explained it could be between 15-25 people, they were very helpful and flexible, we ended up being 23 people, we ordered a few days in advance. The staff were very attentive and all the food came out in good time without any hiccups. Food was of a good standard and no complaints from any of us. Would definitely use again, thank you.

1st time eating here and it was from a recommendation. The waitress who greeted us was pleasant polite and helpful as we had not booked - think her name was Kaitlyn?? We ordered soft drinks and a selection of starters. The food was well presented although I had expected the beef brisket nachos to come all together not separately-also the beef brisket was watery and tasted of tomatoes and didn't have that beefy brisket flavour. The chicken wings were succulent but soggy skin not nice-was hoping they'd be crisper. The veggie Platter was good as was the garlic mushrooms. The ribs were again soggy rather than sticky n crispy yet succulent meat. Overall the food was good. Service was excellent.

It's a lovely place, not sure what needs to be done to create atmosphere. Been there twice and it's dead, people sit around and drink, it's a bit like a social club. Lacks the buzz and entertainment of a good pub. Has all the makings but....

I feel I must write a review! The food we have just eaten was truly exceptional. My wife had belly of pork which she told me was genuinely the best she has ever tasted. My steak and ale pie was full of tender steak served with mash and peas perfectly cooked. The meal was hot and served by friendly efficient staff. Finely very good value. 10 out of 10 thank you.

Excellent, neat and clean, large seating area, good quality food. Well maintained toilet facilities.
