Only had cake and coffee but it was lovely and a good price. The staff were really nice. Will definitely go again.

Lovely food, not a massive choice but enough to find something, all homemade and fresh.

We went into the waters edge pub for some food and some drinks. On the morning we were very poorly greeted by a lady behind the bar. We asked for some breakfast menus and was given a dirty look and felt belittled as we were told they don’t sell breakfast with an awful attitude and disrespectful manner? She was extremely rude, snappy and unprofessional. Me and my partner don’t want to come back to the complex due to these awful customer service experiences. When we ordered our drinks she slammed them down on the table. Very abrupt. Very rude. Very unprofessional. (Not rating the food because we were declined it every time🤣)

Lovely outdoor seating area overlooking the lake. We only stopped for a quick drink while out walking, but we were pleasantly surprised.

Would be 5* but prices are astronomical. Great food, drinks & venue. Staff are lovely, printed off a menu for me. Great if you are on-site and can walk there & have a drink. There are better value eateries in the vicinity.

After a long 7 hour drive we went to the water's edge restaurant after booking into our lodge for a nice drink and some food. I approached the barman who looked bemused at my request to order some food to have outside. I was told that they was to busy and had a very busy evening ahead IT WAS 5.30PM AND NOT A SINGLE PERSON WAS EATING FOOD JUST DRINKING so not sure why at such an early time they couldn't cook some very basic pub food as this is what the menu is. ( £18 for fish and chips 🤣) I went to reception to complain and was told this time by a so called bar manager that he was under staffed?? Very poor attitudes and lies. Big, tasty, fulfilling rump steak Sunday lunch, perfectly cooked and sliced, which was a nice touch, washed down with a pint of tangy cider looking over the lovely water. Very very nice.

I'm going to list all the negatives here first. 1. the website has a different menu which says black pudding fritters, they didn't have them. Ok that's it 4 of us eating, every dish was generously portioned. Recommended pizza with chilli honey. And the artisan bread. Service was great from Holly and Olivia attentive and genuine.

Very nice venue overlooking the lake. Staff there are very friendly. Service was good, it was fairly busy and we had to wait, but it didn't feel like we had to wait too long. There were relaxed gaps in between courses that were appreciated, if you were in a rush you might have faulted them, but for our meal it was cool. The menu is great, having a wide variety of options. The prices were not too bad, there were some expensive options on the specials, but there were also less expensive menu items such as burgers, pizzas etc. So I'd image something to suit everyone. The kids menu was good value and good quality. The overall quality of the food was excellent. Some really interesting combinations and twists on traditional menu items. If you've eaten at your average Mash and Barrel on holiday in the past - this is next level, much better quality. This is reflected in the price, but all in all we felt like it was worth it. Vegetarian options: Good veggie options Kid-friendliness: Great quality kids menu, staff friendly to children. Good bit of outdoor space on waterfront for kids to play while enjoying food and drinks Wheelchair accessibility: definitely accessible,but venue feels kind of long and narrow so when busy wheelchair navigation inside could be tricky

Due to current Government restrictions we were only able to use takeaway service but the food was delicious and piping hot used! We used the service 3 nights as no facility for takeaway where we were staying nearby. The lady there was very friendly and welcoming. Easy to order food and determine collection time.
