Lovely and clean lodge. Margaret the host was a great communicator and our two night stay was perfect. Ideal location to enjoy our walks around Windermere and Silverdale. 100% recommend

Stunning Lodge This lodge is awesome, and communication with Margaret the host is exceptional. The lodge has everything you need for your stay and is beautifully furnished. Netflix and wi-fi is also available free of charge. The lodge is also super dog friendly. Would highly recommend staying here for a relaxing break or base to explore the Lake District and surrounding areas.

Lovely accommodation on a very peaceful leisure village. Spotlessly clean, lots of equipment in the cabin so felt like home from home. Kitchen is excellent, cooker is electric and a lot better than others I have used in similar accommodation. Shower is excellent. Plenty of room for a family of 4. Margaret is an excellent host with great communication. 100% recommended to anyone looking to stay in this area.

Had an excellent stay at no1 retreat! Inside is absolutely spotless, everything you could need utensil wise in the kitchen and the bed is extremely comfy!! It was extremely relaxing sat outside on the balcony looking over to the pond with the duck friends we made! Margaret was so helpful and lovely. The location was perfect for us, just a short walk over to the restaurant/pub or just a drive away to the zoo/attractions. Would definitely stay again. Thank you again Margaret x

Inside No1 was a lovely, well presented unit with everything you need. The decor is very tastefully laid out and feels like home from home and the beds were very clean and comfortable. We cannot recommend this highly enough.The owner was very welcoming and helpful throughout. In fact, we have re-booked because we enjoyed our stay so much.

Amazing margaret was very helpful even picked up a couple of birthday presents for my husband and had them ready for me whwn we arrived amazing
